I played with the bold today and it was NICE. The one they had on display for us didn’t have the leather battery cover but the RIM rep had her own bold and showed us the leather and it felt nice in hand. Display was nice of course and it was definitely easy to use and I’ve never used a blackberry before and didn’t have a hard time figuring out how to navigate. The rep told us that the bold will be released mid-late july

That being said, an August release on AT&T doesn’t sound that bad at all, although BlackBerry and the 3G iPhone are apparently close enough in the races for a few weeks release difference to make or break many sales. I have been waiting for this phone for sometime. I have a ATT 8525 and I am not happy with it. (Battery Life) I hope to be one of the first get this phone in my area. I hope to get one of those Bold coupons.

Thats when the launch psrties are going to be but alas you wont see the product hit shelves until a week after or so. People at the parties (150 per session) will be given a Bold coupon.
