I tried the app, found it to be slow to load and a bit cumbersome, but I’ve always wanted to see a gadget driven application for the blackberry, so a great step forward indeed.

So I’ll be honest .. Zumobi has sucked for me so far.
I have an 8320 with the current apps running (wmlive, viigo original, gmaps, facebook, iTook, flickr, live messenger .. but downloading the 1Mb large Zumobi .. it just sits there ..
Left it live / on / activated for 25 mins … and gave up, deleted it & back to my happy self.
wish this app .. and Yahoo mobile 3.0 (another app that just sits there) were more valid / would-work, etc.

Andy, you need a laptop with a couple free gigs of RAM to run all that stuff at once. Maybe you should close out of all the apps and then install. I was able to install Zumobi without a problem on my 8830, but have since removed because I really didn’t like the interface. It seems to be a memory hog as well, which is expected running all the gadgets it runs.
I have the VZW Curve and it hasn’t worked for me at all. Just a splash screen. In looking at their support forums it would seem that I’m not alone in this conundrum.
