Nice PR stunt. Way to hype the Blackberry platform!

I had my 8830 with me at the birth of my son last year, but other than the couple SMS’s I sent to family announcing the birth and a phone call or two that’s it. If I had tried to tweet or liveblog or whatever, my wife would have killed me. See, those of us in the REAL world can’t make a living from such stunts.

Whether he wants to publicize the birth is one thing, but I think it’s very disrespectful to not be giving your wife 100% of your attention when she is birthing your child. She deserves that and more. Put the BB down and twitter it later! It’s not like people need real time updates of a birth! Good grief! Only about the birth of things like the 9220!! Woohoo!

Sounds like he was a crackberry addict more so then looking to “capture” the moment of his childrens birth, but hey..to each his/her own I guess.
