BlackBerry Bold to come to Mexico

TelCel

The next in a growing list of BlackBerry 9000 launches comes from Mexico’s Telcel. There’s not much showing up on their site, so no solid details on pricing, but that seems to be a common trend across plenty of carriers bringing out the Bold. Of course, we’re still waiting for AT&T to throw Americans a bone, but the latest rumours are pointing to a mid-September to early October release date. If we have any Mexican readers out there, feel free to leave a comment with any more info from your neck of the woods.

    It is good the Blackberry Bold is coming down to Mexico, shame on the super expensive costs Telcel charges in Mexico for their service.

    Blackberry bold its amazing, but,unfortunately it arriving with TELCEL, one of the worst monopoly’s in the world, i waiting for BB BOLD :(

    just speak with my contact in telcel, at the corporate acounts dpt. , the bb bold 9000 will be out mid october, and the touch sceen by mid november………so they say.

    UPDATE:
    just recieve the latest update, monday the 8 of september the bold will be avaibale for sale, and ready in the warehouse, as for the touch no news.
    Also no news about the bold price, but my source said it will not be expencive……….lets wait for these to be true.

    I just called their support line.. they have it on telcel now :) .. my price with contract was about 4000 pesos (which is ~400USD) according to the lady they had it on stock on their stores…

    Hoy salio en Telcel el blackberry bold y hay pocas unidades pero la demanda ha ido lento. Yo desembolse 4900 por uno bold y no estoy forzado a un plan telefonico ni de datos. Parece que en venta directa el cel. cuesta 9000 aprox.

    En fin. Ya estoy feliz con mi Bold!!!

    I just bought my blackberry bold today in telcel! of course its pricey as usual but at least I did not have to wait to september to own it. So if you live in México and you want one of these, hurry up!!

    Does anyone know if BB bold has been discontinued from the Mx market? I’ve tried to get one but the answer I get from Telcel is that they don’t have any in stock and that they have no idea if they will get any more in stock. Thanks!

    well it is going to make corporate rich and mexican government but the people who make them will be slave labor and not get any money out of it since NAFTA’S been in there. The people are the ones who need to profit not the CEO’S. you need to watch Bordertown the movie and see the exposed self deprivation these people go through all these products have blood on thier hands. these woman a murdered and the goverment and mexican police have a blind eye to it!!
