   Am I reading this correctly? Verizon is going to offer a phone with standalone GPS? Are they going to lock it down somehow or have they finally caught up with the times and decided to leave it available for free?

   well, I got the storm today, and I have to tell you that the typing on it is pretty cool. it uses the pearl type keyboard with smart type when held one way, and converts to the full QWERTY keyboard when turned sideways.

   Awesome phone so far…..
