HSBC now offers BlackBerry Banking

HSBC Bank

HSBC, the bank that everyone thought was switching solely to iPhones for business use, has launched the first UK business banking service optimized for Blackberry users. Optimized for BlackBerry 8xxx devices and above, HSBC users can access real-time balances and transactions for the last seven days on HSBC sterling accounts, and balances on foreign currency accounts. In addition, they will have access to balances on business and commercial credit cards, with seven days worth of transactions per cardholder.

This new service can be accessed from www.m.hsbc.co.uk using the same username and password as regular HSBC internet banking service.

    Hello and please excuse this question for it’s obvious nature.. I tried contacting HSBC in the USA for a hint as to when this Blackberry service may be available for use in my country and not surprisingly, no one has a clue to it’s existence.. Of course I did not spend the customary 3 hours on the phone with customer service so that I may be routed through the entire HSBC internet support department however no one seems to know. Would you happen to know when this may become available in the USA? Thank you.

    I have a Curve 8900 but am unable to access my HSBC business accounts as it has not yet been approved by HSBC. I understand they only have 3 Blackberry phone models approved and have little idea of when others may follow. Hardly a launch!
