Following closely after a similar decision in the state of California, Ontario Transportation Minister Jim Bradley has proposed a new law banning cellphone use while driving.
Based upon claims that 20% of all driving accidents are caused by the use of cell phone use while driving, the law would fine citizens anywhere from $500 up to license suspension or jail time.
