I had been with Nextel for well over a decade. The service and reception was spotty at best, but I stayed. May be a coincidence, but the minute Sprint bought them, the service got worse. I had the old 7100i and was tired of waiting for upgrades. I made the switch to Verizon, and love them or hate them, the reception is outstanding. I'm glad, as it turns out, that the new Nextel Blackberry didn't come out before I left because I would have bought it and would still be suffering with inferior coverage. Too little, too late.
