I don’t know how many people will be interested in this, as I have no problem browsing YouTube via my Storm’s web browser, but a dedicated application usually offers more functionality over the mobile web. Google has released a YouTube client for the BlackBerry Storm, allowing users to get a YouTube experience catered specifically for their favorite touchscreen. Here’s what’s included:
-
* Browse millions of videos from your phone.
* Access your favorites, your own uploaded videos and your favorite channels.
* Share, rate, and comment on videos from your phone.
* Upload videos from your phone.
* Find the specific video you’re looking for by easily searching for it.
* Discover “Related” videos for each video you watch on your phone.
Post a comment and tell us what you think of the YouTube application. If you like it, we’ll do a hands-on video for the BlackBerry Nation.

Lame! Why would they release this app only for the blackberry storm. Where is the love for blackberry bold users!
It works as described, though I think the resolution sucks. It’s pixelated at full screen.
Too bad the download for you tube does not work for the Bell Storm
Old news, this app came out maybe 2-3 weeks ago? Its a nicely designed app, but the resolution is pretty terrible. Unless you already know what the video is about and just want the audio to remember it, you are pretty much screwed.
Doesn’t this guy just scream “Mr. Entertainment”?
I installed this application about a week ago. Its working fine with me. I enjoy watching video on my mobile.
I downloaded this app and I have to say that it’s working great for me and it does what its supposed to do.
It makes it much easier for me now to view YouTube videos on my Storm.
How ’bout us 8900 users???! I had it on my storm, rez was fine, esp for a FREE APP! Using the storm with tmo had me
limited to EDGE, tho. Would love to have tried it with 3g.
It’s a great app to have but the pictures isn’t the clearest and blackberry Storm’s can only play certain videos. Not all video files are supported and playable.
