The Hockey News for BlackBerry gets updated

Hockey is one of the few things that makes the cold drudgery of Canadian winter bearable. Following the slow death spiral of the Maple Leafs is something that can cheer me up on even the bleakest day.

To keep me and other hockey loving BlackBerry users up to date, The Hockey News has released an update to their popular mobile application, which has seen 18,000 downloads since launching in mid-September. Here’s what hockey fans get with the latest edition of The Hockey News Mobile:

Live scores while games are played, including scoring summaries
Skater and Goalie standings to track your Fantasy picks
    Division and Conference standings
Rich colour pictures, THN and CP coverage from across the league

To download THN Mobile (for free!), You can see more photos after the jump.

Yeah sorry, no up to date scores. I’m running a 8900/ and downloaded the latest version. The column, blog and features work, but otions for scores. :(

I have the Bold but when I enter the page it just loops me back without a download. I enter my email address and the hyperlink in the email loops me back to the same page. Still no download :(

Any idea on how to get this issue resolved?

I can get the exact same stuff using Viigo … i don’t see what’s special about this app …

This app gives you game summary information. Just click on a past game or live game, and you can see who scored. Viigo doesn’t have that.
