I thought about the Storm but got cold feet due to reported problems and Verizon’s expensive service and locking out functionality on Blackberry’s. I tried the AT&T Bold only to have dropped calls starting on day one of using it and continuing. I thought the Bold was THE BEST phone I have ever used but didn’t like the coverage with AT&T. I started with Nextel back in 1994 and migrated to Sprint around 2004 when their coverage improved. My experience has been that Sprint has the best pricing and best coverage in the western United States where I need service. I am SO looking forward to getting the new “Niagara” or whatever they are going to call the new Blackberry. Blackberry rocks! I have the Blackberry 8330 curve for business use, an Air Rave for free calls at my home office and yes, an iPhone 3G for personal entertainment and backup (although it’s not even dependable as a phone). I hear RIM is coming out with an app store! Why should Apple get all the money? Competition is good for us consumers. Go RIM!

If this is device does not support HSPDA world roaming then I am jumping ship (and there will probably be numerous other too to leave). Sprint has left the world traveler out way too long. Come on Sprint get it together. We have been loyal but loyality only goes so far.

Good 2 know this since my Sprint contract ends in April. I will be one of the first in New Orleans 2 get it. Blackberry addict since 2007 and this will be my New Year’s resolution–new berry!!

I’m just going by what the article sez! I would be shocked also, considering it has been well leaked that Verizon nixed WiFi from the Storm. Niagra (on Verizon, not circling the drain Sprint) is the device I’ve been waiting for though, WiFi would just be a bonus.

Guys, this device can’t be here soon enough. I love the functionality of my Sprint Curve, but absolutely miss the keyboard from my 8830. I can’t wait to see this in my hands.
