I never actually get tired of this game. I can and have played it for hours on end. All in all, this game is no worse than the BlackBerry X versions. But I have a few qualms. The first is almost entirely personal: the accelerometer controls. I find controlling the pillar with the accelerometer to be less accurate and to some degree, disorienting. I’m glad to see Mobigloo making use of the accelerometer in the Storm, but I don’t care for it much. Finally: No landscape mode. What’s the deal? I thought this would have been the first new feature added to the Storm Edition.
- Same great game as on any other BlackBerry device
- Plenty of levels (100)
- Makes moderate use of the screen and accelerometer on the Storm
- Accelerometer can be disorienting and movements can be inaccurate
- No landscape mode
If you’re already familiar with Nintaii by Mobigloo, you’re not in for that many changes. The levels are exactly the same as in the regular edition, and all you’re gaining is accelerometer support. Overall, however, Nintaii is a fantastic game. It’s simple yet engaging, which is the balance mobile game producers should aim to strike.
