Recently my bb 8900 javelin has the sticky unscrollable problem and I dont like the idea of disassembling or replacing any hardwares. A friend of mine recommend me to http://www.unique-stuff.co.cc/fixing_sticky_blackberry_trackball.html they have some tricks but i try the rotating straw technique, and i have my trackball working again now..

I decided to change carriers and get a blackberry curve 8320, and I waited a week for the changeover. On the day I took it home, I had to take it back because it kept resetting itself all the time. Then I waited three weeks for a new one to arrive. The new one doesn’t reset itself but the web browser broke after about a week and I haven’t had time to look into that yet. And I put my old Palm contacts into my Mac agenda but when I try to sync the Blackberry with Pocketmac it doesn’t work. Not to mention that it couldn’t load google sync. But I’m freelance and I just need to check my email, which I have as a carrier service, so as long as that keeps working I’m okay. Although I haven’t received a physical bill yet (even though an amount has been deducted from my bank account) because the people in the shop insisted that having an incorrect fictional address put in by my previous carrier didn’t matter but customer service just rang this week to check my address, so I guess my bill might be somewhere down the coast. In spite of everything am generally very happy with the Blackberry!

i was in a verizon store with a friend and playing around with the blackberry storms. i picked up both of the display models and both felt different typing than the model I have. It wasn’t night and day, but it was enough that I could determine that there was a model that typed smoother on the edges than mine did. in addition to that, the *click sounded different on each. needless to say, i was angry that my phone did not match up to the display models. Now I just want one of the new curves and to be done with this damn thing.
