@Blotto Sorry I should have been more clear. The events updates I’m looking for are where you can browse what is going on each day and see who is attending. It’s a great way to decide what to do and I can’t see it on Facebook Mobile. If the option is there that’s great.

Event are indeed integrated into this version of the application. When you are notified of events on facebook, the application adds them to your bb calendar. Did you use the setup wizard or look at the options screen?
Regardless, I am very unimpressed with this version of the app. The 3, very simple, improvements are really not worth all the hype that has been going on about this. If they added the news feed to the app, then i might be impressed, but not yet.
