Slacker Radio Plus

Thank you everyone for your entries into the Slacker Radio Plus contest!  We here at BlackBerry Cool do have a sense of humor and Brian pulled the right string to make us laugh.  Yes it is dark and no you shouldn’t do this at home.

Here was the winning comment:

Some people are like slinkies…they are not really good for anything, but they sure bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs. I prefer some Slacker music while I watch it.

    That’s too bad… that slinky comment is so common now it’s practically cliche. I’ve heard many times, and for several years. The original quote goes something like this:

    “Some people are like Slinkies – not really good for anything, but you still can’t help but smile when you see one tumble down the stairs.”

    There are many variations, but the saying is common and all over the Internet. Just do a quick Google search for “people + slinkies.”

    1,500,000 hits for people + slinkies

    Almost every result is a variation of that quote. I hate it when unoriginality is rewarded….
