You are right about the quote. The quote has been my favorite for some time and was the first to pop in my head. It got me a win though.
I wrote the quote from work and did not have much time.

That’s too bad… that slinky comment is so common now it’s practically cliche. I’ve heard many times, and for several years. The original quote goes something like this:

“Some people are like Slinkies – not really good for anything, but you still can’t help but smile when you see one tumble down the stairs.”

There are many variations, but the saying is common and all over the Internet. Just do a quick Google search for “people + slinkies.”

1,500,000 hits for people + slinkies

Almost every result is a variation of that quote. I hate it when unoriginality is rewarded….
