* The initial message was intended to be a registration message but we will clarify that and make it optional when the application comes out of beta status. 

* We will also never share your contact information.

From here on out, the application checks for version upgrade automatically - at that point it provides the version upgrade program device software version and PIN number to enable the upgrade program to make a decision about the updated version  to be offered to the user as an information message. Again this check for new version does not send your sensitive usage data.
