PocketMeeting is a simple web app that allows you to share your screen for meetings, tech support or even just to help a colleague with a particular problem. The web app is also compatible with the BlackBerry Bold which means you can be even more productive from your mobile device.
The app is pay per use, and at $5 it seems to be targeting the small to medium sized business range. The site doesn’t require any download or account setup, so if you’re looking for a fast way to share screens and you’re on the go, this could be for you.
Try PocketMeeting for your BlackBerry Bold at $5 per session.
There isn’t much here in the way of news, I just thought you might like to see some of the things RIM likes to sponsor. This MXS-R aircraft belongs to Spanish pilot Alejandro Maclean and it looks pretty awesome decked out in BlackBerry colors.
BerryReview posted a free theme found over at the BBForums. The theme looks pretty nice and considering it’s free, is surely worth a try. The theme allows for all of your notifiers and indicators to be displayed neatly at the top. The only drawback is the wallpaper used is very basic. Hope you like it.

Palringo has made an effort to update their app based on feedback from the BETA. In particular, the connection issues identified in the BETA version have been resolved.
Many government and enterprise individuals don’t want cameras on their mobile devices for security concerns. In response to a small yet existent demand for a BlackBerry sans camera, Sprint is releasing the 8350i, a BlackBerry Curve without the 2mp camera. The pricing on the 8350i sans-camera is lined up exactly with the older version that includes a camera, at $149.99 after $100 mail-in rebate and a 2-year contract.
Other unique features for this BlackBerry include Nextel Direct Connect service which lets Curve 8350i users instantly connect with other Sprint customers with PPT devices using its iDEN network. The device is also significantly more bulky than its other Curve 83xx siblings, due in part to its additional internal components; the 8350i packs both GPS and Wi-Fi, something that can’t be said about any of the other 83xx series devices. This Curve does include WiFi so they haven’t stripped anything but the camera which is great.
I remember when I first give up my RAZR and monochrome two-way RIM pager for a blackberry, my first whine was “WHAT?!? I have ONE alarm?” Of course, you can always add reoccurring calendar items, but if you’re a professional who actually uses their calendar for business, this can become cluttered and annoying. Fortunately, Adorno! MultiAlarm Pro from Adorno has the solution. It has such a simple and intuitive interface, you have to wonder why the built in alarm application isn’t a little more like this.
Creating alarms is an easy process, even given the many options at your disposal.
You first option is frequecy, which to be honest, has more options than I think any one person will need:
• Fixed Date – Choose one date and time for an alarm.
• Weekly – Choose the days of the week you want the alarm on and the time on those days.
• Once – Choose a one time alarm. (This is the alarm type set by a Quick Alarm.)
• Daily – Choose a time for an alarm to go off each day.
• Hourly – Choose a minute for an alarm to go off each hour. (I’m sure this one must serve SOME sort of medical purpose, as I can think of no other reason to annoy people THAT often.) Click through to read more about Adorno MultiAlarm Pro
