I got tipped off by a friend at WES about a cool app called R-Vintage by REGARD that is perfect for wine enthusiasts. This free app will allow mobile wine lovers to do a quick vintage ratings look-up by country, region and varietal increasing the chances of picking a winner from the wine list.
This free version provides static lookup back to the year 2000. In addition to numeric ratings, you receive a Drink/Hold recommendation vintage by vintage. A premium version will be released soon to provide dynamic lookup and other must-have features for wine lovers.

@ Aldo, I had to turn off compatibility mode but the top of the screen is somewhat still hidden on the Storm.
To turn off compatibility mode hit options, advanced, applications scroll down to the application then hit BB key then disable compatibility mode.
I have written one better, but now no one returns my calls at blackberry and no one says no. now this
Pretty rudimentary really – not to sound like a total snob – but there is more to German wine e.g. than just Riesling. Many old fashioned pocket tables had at least as much info as is included in this app. I deleted it.
REGARD has now release v2.0 of R-Vintage Lookup with improved UI (Storm specific version) as well as new features and content. Free Trial download at
