Poptiq has launched a new mobile video service for the BlackBerry Bold and Curve 8900. You can find it in AppWorld in the Music & Video section.
With Poptiq, viewers can discover and enjoy quality web programming across a range of categories including Comedy, Music, Science & Tech, Sports, Nature, and many more. Rather than streaming, Poptiq downloads video to the BlackBerry. This results in an immediate, high quality viewing experience that is available whenever the viewer chooses to watch video, regardless of network coverage. Poptiq downloads video in the background using WiFi and silently “tops up” whenever the BlackBerry is in a WiFi zone, ensuring fresh content is always available.

Don’t install this. At 5.9mb It is a mem hog and takes over your BB.
There is no way to shut the program, and I can’t get it to delete correctly.
It auto downloads about 8mb of video.
Just a poor over all design.
If anyone can tell me how to shut this program down so I can uninstall that would be great.
Glad I saw your comment about Poptiq. I checked out AppWorld, but they must have removed it. I couldn’t find the app anyway. Just as well.
