Evernote has had some incredible success on iPhone and they’re bringing their services to BlackBerry, free of charge on App World.
Evernote gives BlackBerry users a feature-rich note taking experience that includes the ability to instantly capture text notes, snapshots, and audio memos at anytime. The data is stored within Evernote then synchronized from your BlackBerry to your computer where you can organize and search through the data.
Evernote for BlackBerry is free on App World.
[ED NOTE: Sorry guys, OS 4.6+ only.]

This is a good start. Wish it had more integration w/ the notes and used a built in viewer w/ full menus versus the browser based one.
Doesn’t appear in the App World for me yet. (uk)
I’m excited about Evernote for BlackBerry. Any idea how long it takes an app to show up on App World? It still isn’t there and there is no direct download link at Evernote.com.
Great, sounds amazing. One glitch – why oh why is App World only for certain countries!?!!!?? That helps me nothing.
Oh well
I can’t see it either…. I’ve been waiting for this for a LONG time. Guess I’ll have to wait a bit longer
cant see it either on appworld…..
looks like another false start…can’t find it on app world
I rushed to the app store when I read this,because it’s the ONLY thing I miss from my old WM phone and I eventually stopped using Evernote altogether, but it wasn’t there! After some digging on the Evernote site… it’s for OS 4.6+. Total failure.
can’t see it either here in the us, south jersey. download squad also posted about this and said that its only for os ver 4.6 and up, too. so maybe thats the cause?
Running v4.6.0.162 and cant find it in App World. Oh well – I guess we’ve been waiting a good while for Evernote BB, a little while longer wont hurt! Looking forward greatly to the app though.
yup yup, double confirmed now between pinstack and downloadsquad. this is only on the following bb models:
* BlackBerry® Bold™
* BlackBerry® Curve™ 8900 series
* BlackBerry® Storm™

Did download it from app world (am in the US) and as soon as I launched it, it said there was an update available for it and and then it downloaded that. Not sure if I would call this a feature-rich app as it still needs to launch the browser to view/search old notes. It also doesn’t appear to cache any information locally so it has to go to and download it, existing tags is a good example.
While this is much better then what we had before, which was really nothing. It doesn’t come close to what they offer on the iPhone. Evernote is the only thing I miss about my iPhone. Everything else I have either found the equivalent or something better on my Bold.
First users outside of certain countries (still) aren’t given access to App world and now users running 4.5 also get the finger? Double fail by RIM

I think “Feature Rich” is stretching the truth a looooong way. Have you seen the iPhone version? Much as I am a BlackBerry person, my work-issued iPhone is looking more and more attractive with applications being more developed and polished and MobileMe OTA sync of contacts, calendars, etc.
Evernote on BlackBerry…..huge disappointment
Evernote just added direct download!
