BlackBerry Curve 8900 shows up on AT&T site

Comments

att curve 8900

The AT&T BlackBerry Curve 8900 is expected to launch this Friday and it is already showing up on the AT&T website. The device has taken quite some time to reach AT&T since RIM first launched the device.

Personally, this is my favorite BlackBerry device to date, and the one I use on a daily basis. I have always been a fan of the Curve keypad, and the 8900 does a great job of maintaining the isolated and easy to press keys. With an improved form factor and hardware, you won’t be disappointed with this purchase.

Control your PC and media center with your BlackBerry

MobiMouse allows you to turn your BlackBerry into a wired or wireless mouse and keyboard. With support for USB, Bluetooth, WiFi and mobile, there are a variety of ways to connect. With MobiMouse, you can launch and control Windows Media Player, iTunes, PowerPoint, or even a DVR application right from your BlackBerry. You can also assign shortcuts to close an application, open the default Browser, Task Manger, and more.

The installation was a breeze, and didn’t even require a reset on my BlackBerry. Now, you have to make sure that you download the file onto your computer, too, as you have to install a small application on any computer you want to use with MobiMouse. From there, it’s a piece of cake.

PhoneFace is a speed dialing app that shows full-color photos of your contacts – so you can call them quickly and easily. If you are a Facebook or Twitter user, PhoneFace will go online and find your friends profile picture.

Electric Pocket just released an update to its PhoneFace speed-dial app for BlackBerry. The newest feature includes a more friendly search tool, so you can just type as much of the person’s name as you want and it’ll find matches based on what you’ve typed. This makes it far faster to find people if you have a bunch of contacts in PhoneFace.

Purchase PhoneFace for BlackBerry for the special price of $7.95 until Jun 1st.
