This is lousy piece of not-ready software. It has no value on a Curve 8310. I removed it. Why? Many reasons, including forms can not be filled on screen, you get sent to the Blackberry white screen to enter data then have multiple clicks to get that loaded into the form, and page loading is slower than cold molasses. This is over-hype and under perform. Blackberry still needs a decent browser. Opera doesn’t make music.

As I mentioned it doesn’t support SurePress but it otherwise works fine on the Storm. I’ve used it for quite a while on the VZW Storm. It simply uses a capacitive style system instead. While it takes some getting used to the difference, it works as it does on any other device.

Nokia har visserligen haft en liknande funktion men det är kanske först i och med Ovi Store som de har en helhjärtad satsning. När det gäller program till Blackberry så såg jag idag att Opera har en tävling där en Opera Mini-användare med Blackberry kan vinna en resa till Oslo men även till utv…. [...]

It actually does NOT work fine on the Storm because it does not utilize SurePress. It is thus incompatible with the Storm. Perhaps the “advanced preview” of the new Opera Mini will be the one which is fully compatible with the Storm.
