BBRocks posted a few official OS updates that we’re all happy to download. Doesn’t it feel good to download an official OS? You know your BlackBerry won’t explode and instead you get to experience an upgrade sans-hassle.

Download the AT&T OS 4.5.0.158 for the BlackBerry Pearl 8110.

Download the Rogers OS 4.6.0.250 for the BlackBerry Curve 8900.

Download the CSL Limited OS 4.6.0.282 for the Bold 9000

Is anyone else concerned about the fact that this Bold OS is for East Asia? It will still have English right?, and won’t give me any problems with AT&T in the US. Also I don’t want to clutter up my memory with asian charatars I don’t need. Can I delet all other languages in the desktop software? Does anyone know?

    Just Overly Cautious-

Im with Chris…is it okay to install the EastAsia version? Multilanguage makes more sense. Anyone from AT&T in the US install this?

    hi..
fortunately i live in asia region so of course i know abit about something like this..
to answer ur question, is YES.. you can remove all the feature that you dont need.. and its safe to install another operator version’s OS to your blackberry but please do it on your own risk and before that please remember to delete vendor.xml
i am sure you’ll get more about this, just googling.. :p

and about your data, ofcourse you need to backup first before upgrading
