hi..
fortunately i live in asia region so of course i know abit about something like this..
to answer ur question, is YES.. you can remove all the feature that you dont need.. and its safe to install another operator version’s OS to your blackberry but please do it on your own risk and before that please remember to delete vendor.xml
i am sure you’ll get more about this, just googling.. :p

and about your data, ofcourse you need to backup first before upgrading

Is this safe if I upgrade? Do we lose previous data if we upgrade? How to do proper upgrade withouth loosing any data.

Is anyone else concerned about the fact that this Bold OS is for East Asia? It will still have English right?, and won’t give me any problems with AT&T in the US. Also I don’t want to clutter up my memory with asian charatars I don’t need. Can I delet all other languages in the desktop software? Does anyone know?
