This GreenPeace theme for the Curve 8900 doesn’t seem to have any actualy GreenPeace branding but it definitely shows off the team colors.
Keeping our forests alive is a great cause, but Earth First take it to a level of intensity that makes me sort of scared. If you’re screaming and crying over dead trees, consider a new cause.

Motorola and RIM have been in legal disputes for a long time. Back in February of 2008, RIM claimed that Motorola refused to license some of its patents “on a fair and reasonable basis”, mainly in rebuttal to an initial litigation by Motorola. RIM also accused Motorola of using 9 of RIM’s patents without permission, a complaint in response to Motorola claiming RIM is using 7 of theirs.
A magistrate judge recently ruled that Motorola patent-infringement claims against RIM will be put on hold while the U. S. government reviews the patents.
At RIM’s request, the U. S. Patent and Trademark Office is taking a second look at 10 Motorola patents. Judge William Sanderson said in Dallas on June 15 that the civil suit was “still in its infancy” and it would help to have an additional review by the patent office before it goes further with those claims.

A Victoria, BC couple were shocked to discover sexually explicit videos on their newly purchased BlackBerry Pearl Flip.
“It’s pornography. There’s no question about it,” said Wade Greenwood about the “very explicit” content he found.
Greenwood was looking at options on his new BlackBerry Flip Monday when he came across two videos showing sexual acts. He found several photographs of strangers on the phone and called Bell. Then on Monday evening, he found a pair of one-minute explicit videos. The phone’s history indicates they were downloaded on April 23, before he bought it.
I can’t help but wonder if whoever put those videos on the phone was looking for some viral celeb status. In any case, I hope they wiped the device – both for data and anything else that might be on the phone.

Shozu is now going from “free” to “fee.” On the heels of ShoZu’s new leadership announcement last week, the company plans to unveil its new corporate strategy and paid app store model today at Mobile 2.0 in Barcelona.
Though currently only available on Apple’s iTunes app store, ShoZu will soon be accessible through additional stores and outlets, to be announced at a later date.
Distribution through additional stores such as Nokia’s Ovi, RIM’s BlackBerry App World and Microsoft’s Windows Mobile Marketplace will be announced. The application also continues to be available from London-based ShoZu at www.shozu.com and its mobile site at m.shozu.com.
The ShoZu application currently is available from Apple’s App Store for $4.99 and a similar price point will be used for App World.
Personally, I can’t bring myself to pay for a social network but I could see many paying to not lose the friends they made on the site. Anybody buying?

The watercolors theme is great for the extroverted BlackBerry user who can’t get enough colors on their device. They probably have a pink case and a neon green Colorware job on their device. This theme features hand drawn icons by valexd.
Download the Watercolors theme for your BlackBerry Bold OTA. This version has hand drawn icons.
