Poynt has added another feature: Voice Navigation System integration. In addition to mapping through BlackBerry Maps and Google Maps, Poynt users have access to Voice Navigation Services Gokivo, VZ Navigator, Telus Navigator, AAAMobile, Metro Navigator and Your Nav. Users can select those services as their preferred navigation solution to map route within Poynt, allowing them to take advantage of audible turn-by-turn directions and auto-rerouting.
And what would a BlackBerry Cool post about Poynt be without the incredibly annoying screenshot of features yet to come? See above.

I really enjoyed the Inside BlackBerry blog’s latest How To post. It’s called the Ole Switcheroo and it involves transferring your email to a new device.
Although the How To is something most BlackBerry users are very familiar with, Mark points out a cool flow chart I’ve never seen before in the BlackBerry Technical Solution Center.
Before selling, or after buying, a previously owned BlackBerry smartphone, there are important steps to take to make sure that personal information is kept secure and that the BlackBerry smartphone will function properly for the purchaser. The above diagram outlines the necessary steps to take before selling or after purchasing a previously owned BlackBerry.

No More BlackBerry Sightings of Lauren Conrad on The Hills…
Here is why celebs love BlackBerry:
1. It’s a status symbol. If you can afford a BlackBerry Bold, you’re immediately richer than 70% of the rest of the world.
2. It’s easy to type. The Bold and Curve QWERTY keys mean they can write thousands of emails about how Lindsay Lohan looks “skanky.”
3. The security. If their BlackBerry is password protected, there is no way somebody is breaking in to steal their data.

A great carrier promotion would involve giving early device adopters the chance to get credits added to their bill if their device’s price gets reduced within the first year. For example, if I purchased an AT&T BlackBerry Bold for $299 and 6 months later the device costs $199, I should be credited $100 to my bill. Alas, this is not the case.
AT&T has changed the 2-year contract price of the BlackBerry Bold to $199.99 from $299.99. The AT&T BlackBerry Curve 8900 has been reduced to $149.99 on a 2-year contract.
