UPDATE: Here is the screencap of Ka-Glom free on App World. I’ve emailed the company asking why you guys aren’t seeing it. I’ll let you know.
Ka-Glom was one of the most addictive games for BlackBerry I’ve ever played. The best part of it was that it first launched at a time when almost nobody was playing BlackBerry games. I remember burning through my 8700’s battery playing it and competing for high scores with my friends.
The game is now free in App World in tandem with the company making the game available for App World.
Published by Magmic, Ka-Glom is a classic BlackBerry title and it will be interesting to see what sort of revenue the company sees from the Apple App Store.
Really? I love this game but when I tried to download it, it still has a $$$. Maybe there is a delay from when price changes are updated in App World
BB App World said $4.99 on my Curve 8330. Any ideas how to get it for free?
Weird…. I just checked from here in the US and it came up as 4.99 on my storm. I guess only for some models?

The app store is telling me the game is $4.99. Is there a trick to getting it free or was it just a bait and switch PR release?

OK screenshot posted. I think the issue lies in that there are 2 Ka-Glom versions on App World. The old one which is $5.99 and the new one which is called “Ka-Glom – Free”

am i the only who cannot see this game listed in the top downloads?? bb appworld needs to wok on itself…
I also searched for the app and came up empty. I’m on a Curve 8330 (Verizon).
I managed to install this on my friend’s brand-new Flip Pearl on Verizon last night from the Top Downloads section…
I still don’t see it in Top Downloads on my Storm, which is where I imagine it’d be if it were available…
It’s odd that my Storm’s top downloads list looks exactly the same but with iheartradio listed instead of this game. And like others have mentioned, I can’t find the pay version anymore either
yeah, so…this post seems to have vanished from Viigo and still doesn’t show up on the storm. What gives?
Tried App World on my Storm randomly today…lo and behold this was listed as one of the featured apps. WOOT!
I tried last night and this morning- It shows up at free- but does not have a download button???
