Why ever is it taking so long ?? I am in a bit of a pickle you see - My iphone 2 g fell and broke beyond repair. I have been struggling with a nokia 3110C (not a bad phone at all ) as a temp. I borrowed my mom's blackberry 8900 and am using it but beta Desktop for Mac does not do the contacts properly. I find that several contacts that have multiple numbers do not transfer more than 1 number.
I have to return the BBerry soon - I cannot get my mitts on an iphone 3g S cause its not released in my country yet and no ETA - only available in Grey and I dont want that.
So unless RIM moves its rear-end and releases Mac desktop - I dont know whether to invest in a Bold or 8520 or 8900 OR to suffer with a Nokia E71 (not a fan of S60) OR to bite the bullet and break the bank and buy the iphone

FRUSTRATING !!!!!!!

As far as I can tell, this is a much-anticipated piece of garbage.
It does not sync contacts or anything at all to my blackberry tour.

Don't believe the hype.

With great expectations I have run the beta on my system - only to find that there is a bug with the synch of contacts

on my 8900 ONLY one number per contact will transfer - its a huge disappointment

Gotta have 10.5.5 huh...
If me and my wife had the money to upgrade to two Macs that would comfortably run 10.5.5... then I'd probably just shell out the cash for Iphones.

I can't believe that this little device manager app is gonna be so powerful it's gonna draw all the power that 10.5.5 offers :)
