Zachriel, the developer behind the Gears of War theme for the Storm, has a new theme called Hybrid. The theme is a mix of looks from various smartphones including some iPhone-esque icons, Android meters and the HTC clock.

Downloaded the theme but it doesn’t show up under the Themes menu. It dose not appear in any folders but I can see the file under Options/applications. How to I run this?

Looks like it’s for the storm only. I wasn’t able to access it with my Bold. If anyone knows how to by-pass this problem, please share. I WANT THAT APP!

It’s for the Storm 9500 and 9530 only. After installing it should show up under Options –> Theme

If you’re trying to install this on a Blackberry that isn’t the Storm it will install but not show up under the Theme menu. If you do have a Storm and you don’t see it try uninstalling via the Advanced –> Applications menu and try installing again.
Love this theme. It’s very fast, the hidden today options work great and it has very cool little animations. I highly recommend it.
I think it is for Storm only as it refers to the developer themestorm.net.

I’ve downloaded the theme (Hybrid 8 Icons + WeatherBug + MeterBerry + Hidden Today) but apart from the basic theme, how do I access the other functions like Weatherbug, Meterberry, etc ? Also, how do I change the icons on the top next to the clock ? Sorry for sounding so amateurish…………….
Any way to change the font size on the incoming calls? The font size is very small for this theme, but when I put it in landscape it is fine. Any suggestions
I’ve downloaded to my Storm and am having a problem with the volume control while playing music. Instead of adjusting the volume up and down, the volume control buttons switch the track being played. Did I miss a set up somewhere?
srinivas – WeatherBug and MeterBerry do not come with the theme, it just refers to the 2 icons next to the clock being customizable. What ever icons are in position 9 and 10 on your apps screen will appear in these positions, just like apps 1 to 8 will appear in the bottom 8.
Schon – This is kind normal and you’ll find the default theme does the same, you need to lightly tap the volume up/down keys to change volume, more than a tap will skip forward or back (depending on the button). Again this isn’t a theme issue and I have noticed the button is more sensitive in more recent OS releases.

Hi, I have downloaded the theme to my computer. Now how I can install it to my storm? Via Blackberry Desktop? I have tried and seems to be application loader does not accept the jad file to be added. Pls help me out. Thank you.

Great theme love the animations, but on the pic of the theme its got an icon for SMS but I’ve tried all the versions and I can’t seem to find this icon when I look for it once downloaded…. where could I find it???
