Maybe their servers are overloaded with people trying to download the upgrade. I didn’t have a problem on my Verizon Curve. Maybe try later?
I can download App World, it just doesn’t run. I get an error stating “Blackberry App World is Having trouble connecting the Blackberry App World server. Verify your network connections and try again.” I’ve got a VZW 8130 pearl.

Same problem with my sprint curve… and yes what is up with the Spanish license agreement?
I have sprint 8330 and downloaded it and says verify your network connections and try again also. I will see if it works tomorrow.
I have a us curve 8330, not on verizon. Its on cellcom. I can download app world 1.1 just fine. I open it and it says can’t connect. Wtf?

Same as before…this app STILL has a HUGE memory leak…lost 4MB in a matter of seconds…you would think that RIM of all people would have that problem licked!!!!
does anyone know why after i updated app world i ended up having a notification on top of my screen that looks like a black circle with an arrow and red star on top ?
to me it looks like it shows that i have something running in app world but i closed that down rebooted my phone and its still there
