Tumblr app for BlackBerry with video and audio to come

Tumblr is a great platform for the casual, personal style blog and they’ve got a BlackBerry app. This isn’t breaking news or anything but we haven’t written about them yet.

Hippocamp developed the Tumblr app which allows you to create, edit and post direct to your Tumblr blog all from your BlackBerry. The application is free and regularly updated.

Be sure to keep an eye on this app, because video and audio uploading are coming in soon to be released versions.

Download the Tumblr client for your BlackBerry.

    Thanks Blair. I had this installed on my BB for a while, but I had a lot of issues with it and deleted it. Anybody else have issues with it? Or has it been updated recently?

    Josh - the version that’s available hasn’t been updated for a while, but it is more reliable than the earlier version. if you’re having trouble with any posting make sure you switch to email mode by entering your tumblr email in the options screen, this way the app uses the more reliable email transport to get the data to tumblr.

    we’ve been working on a more polished version for sale through appworld so this client is a little old, rough around the edges and soon to be redundant.

    Thanks, Jhfisher, I’ll download it again, & try the email setting thing. Last time I was having a problem with it only sending part of my updates.
