Same problem here. Both times I tried to download for App World “there was a problem during installation.” Mine was on a Curve 8900 btw.
The link in their blog post pointed to getjar.com and then it said there was no version compatible w/ the Storm, even though they list the Storm as supported. Back to the drawing board OpenTable.

Same problem on my bold, and it won’t work through getjar for me either.
I downloaded the cod/alx through getjar and installed to my storm via DM.
seems to be working fine now.

Yeah, it doesn’t work for me with my Tour from AppWorld, and on the getjar site, it doesn’t even list the Tour 9630, although the site says it works with device os 4.5 and higher.
for those that _really_ want this app:

download the .alx and the .cod files (I don’t think the device matters)
connect BB to PC, start up DM ( :-p )
goto Application Loader
goto Add/Remove Applications
click Browse, find the downloaded .alx file
click Next
that should be it.
Why wont they fix this? makes no sense to release something that hasnt been properly tested.
I will try it from my Tour this evening, and come back her to let everyone know what my results are. I use open table a lot, and this would be very useful. Too bad we’d have to go through this to get it to work, but, I’m sure they will fix the ota method at some point.

Hi there,
OpenTable here — there was an issue with the build on the BlackBerry App World that we were just able to resolve. Please uninstall any previous instance of the app and try downloading it from App World again.
Sorry for the inconvenience, we didnt realize it was a Canadian holiday and it would take so long to resolve!
