Often times you have a contact in your Address Book and you aren’t sure whether it’s a good time to call them. With WhatsApp, the question “What’s up” gets answered before you decide, so you know if it’s a good time.
Ideally, this system would be built into the BlackBerry Address Book, but for now we have a free app that works with others who have also downloaded the app. The app only gets better as more people use it, so consider using the “Tell a Friend” feature. It’s free so why not?
Download WhatsApp for free OTA by visiting http://www.whatsapp.com/bb/ from your BlackBerry Browser.
UPDATE: App World is having some issues today, but users can download from GetJar and there shouldn’t be any problem.

This is one of the most useful app in the latest time

@bbim last time i checked, BBM wasn’t available for iPhone. this app connects you with your iPhone contacts.
@xandex
we get that question a lot. the “how is this different from twitter” question. let me ask you this: would you ever use twitter for things such as
- “in meetings all day, call me after 6pm”
- “batter is low, call my office @ 408-555-1212″
- “out of the country for a week, you can reach me on my paris number”
i think twitter is great (hey, how else would you know what ashton kutcher is eating for breakfast;), but the idea behind our app is different from twitter… while twitter is more like a group chat, whatsapp is more of a status indicator.
How to download it for BB Curve 8900?
