Blackberry is available on all carriers, hence more sales.

The reason why the Curve got top spot is because it actually represents 5 devices (some of them VERY different to each other) over at least 4 carriers…compared with second place that is only one device (effectively) available on one carrier. To be fair, if they had applied the same logic to the iPhone as they did with the Curve and Pearl (combining iPhone 3G sales with that of the 3GS), then the results may have been different.
