While it’s not the first time we’ve seen the BlackBerry Curve go on sale for free with a contract, it may be the first time a carrier has partnered with a BlackBerry app to give them away.
Slacker has partnered with all the major carriers to discount the Curve to free with a new contract or a contract extension.

The major thing the CFL is lacking is a tailgate culture. While it’s not big in Canada, it’s a ton of fun and Americans do it right.
Viigo and the CFL have partnered to create a content module for all your CFL needs. With this new module, you can get live scores, schedules, standings, breaking news and even purchase tickets directly from your BlackBerry.
If you already have Viigo, you’ll notice that the CFL module can be added to the home screen. Just select “Add Service” from the device’s menu and choose CFL.

Over 1,000 buzzd users were surveyed about mobile etiquette in a night club/bar, and the majority said that there was no etiquette whatsoever. While this isn’t breaking news, the survey asks some pretty funny questions and it’s worth reading.
A funny statistic that came from the study shows that 60% of users admitted to drunk dialing and 68% drunk texting. The survey isn’t your standard mobile industry research paper either, it gets really saucy. For example, the study goes on to ask users about their sex lives given the economic downturn.
