Signing documents on the go can be help your organization get official documents authorized in a timely manner. This saves you time, money and can potentially be the difference between a sale and an unhappy client.
EchoSign have a web-based system that allow you to sign documents directly from your device, securely and legally. The process is simple:
* Upload an electronic copy (or fax it in if you only have a hard copy) to EchoSign
* Enter the recipient?€™s email address and include a note
* Click to send
The document goes to the user’s BlackBerry where they can sign the document online. The document cannot be modified and the system is totally secure, making it an easy way to authorize any official document.
Before EchoSign, the process of sending documents back and forth was plagued with inefficiency. The document would be faxed or sent by Fedex, and then returned signed. The process could take anywhere from, at best, half an hour, to upwards of several business days. EchoSign brings us one step closer to the mobile office we all dream about, and it’s even eco-friendly.

The BlackBerry Storm 2 is rumored to launch around the same time as the original BlackBerry Storm (launched late November, 2008). While we haven’t heard anything official, BlackBerry Zone is saying that Vodafone UK is set to release the Storm 2 in October with Verizon following soon after in November.
While this is just rumor, it makes sense for a few reasons:
- The BlackBerry Storm launched around this time last year.
- It fits with the other devices set to launch, Curve 8520 in the summer, followed by the Onyx and then the Storm 2.
- We’re approaching the Back-to-School and Christmas consumer blitzes, so RIM will be pushing as many devices as possible.
The original BlackBerry Storm had a lot of bad press from the Internet, even though it had an incredibly low return rate. This suggests that it was the blogosphere giving it bad search engine mojo while many happy customers simply didn’t voice their opinion. RIM will be working really hard to make sure that the Storm 2 is the device that everyone expects. So while the rumor may be true, it could easily be pushed back last minute if RIM isn’t fully satisfied with the device.

JLDesigns has two themes up: one is called VerizonBerry and is made for the Curve 8900, Bold and Storm. The other is AT&T Berry which is made for the Curve 8900 and Bold.
The themes emulate the default themes you get with the Curve 8310 from AT&T and the Curve 8330 from Verizon. Both themes are available in Bottom Dock, L, and Today variants, which the original themes were not.
Another bonus is that the Storm version of VerizonBerry, is completely compatible with the .151 hybrid software, which many themes are not, and the L variants include a rollover today feature
If you’re looking for a great way to rep your carrier, this is it.
Download AT&T Berry for the Curve 8900 and Bold for $4.98.

Often times you have a contact in your Address Book and you aren’t sure whether it’s a good time to call them. With WhatsApp, the question “What’s up” gets answered before you decide, so you know if it’s a good time.
Ideally, this system would be built into the BlackBerry Address Book, but for now we have a free app that works with others who have also downloaded the app. The app only gets better as more people use it, so consider using the “Tell a Friend” feature. It’s free so why not?
Download WhatsApp for free OTA by visiting http://www.whatsapp.com/bb/ from your BlackBerry Browser.
UPDATE: App World is having some issues today, but users can download from GetJar and there shouldn’t be any problem.
