@Jon I agree that it isn’t a good solution for clients. This is purely internal. Again, I’m not saying this necessarily beats Basecamp, I’m just saying it’s a good first step.

I’m curious what people think BBM should add to make the Groups feature more Small Business friendly.

This is a good idea, but limited to everyone having a blackberry. I don’t think I would use this for my clients and basecamp process, for example. Even the clients I have on bb messenger don’t even use it much, so I still need to email or call them.

It needs to open up for other IM clients and then it could be a killer bb app. But until then, it’s not going to be used much for business.
