Software upgrades can not get you Wifi, more system memory, improved battery door or the upgraded typing technology.. You completely ignored all of this mentioned in this article.

I own the Storm 1 and i love it, not long after i got it i went back down the VZ to ask what was the difference, and pretty much they said nothing big. After i left i upgraded my software on my phone to the software that the S2 has. Which is 5.0 or something instead of 4.7 and made all my apps speed up and pretty much made everything like the S2. In the review it said something about Auto-Correct when your typing a message and after i upgraded i could tell a difference.

So to anyone that has a Storm1 and wants a Storm2 then just simply upgrade your software and pretty much everything will be the same besides the outer features obviously.

Unfortunetly if you buy hard cases or covers for them beward that they are different sizes so it wont fit

Use a little knife to get under the tab and pry it up. Trust me, you won't break it. Just pop the bottom of the cover up at the "notch". If your BlackBerry is on Verizon the notch is right below the Verizon logo at the bottom of the backplate.

>>>> I can’t remove the battery on the Storm 2 either. I feel really stupid, especially since it is supposed to be easier to remove.

There are a couple of things I WISH they would do on all devices. Relocate the MicroUSB and Headphone jack to either the top or the bottom (bottom preferably) of the device. When I'm driving I keep my Storm 1 on the charger which comes out the left side of the device. I also plug it into my Alpine on the righ side. Its not really convenient when a call comes in. Also while walking and listening to music with the device in your pocket the device becomes wider, if it was at the top or bottom it would only be longer, narrow is better in the pocket and in the car. I like how they are not propietary but if they were on the bottom it would make for a better flow. Just my 2 pesos.
