We’re also giving away 3, 1 year subscriptions to TeleNav GPS Navigator. Just comment what you think of the Bold 9700 and we’ll select 3.
UPDATE: Thanks for participating everyone. The winners will be contacted shortly.

Finally 3G & UMA on tmo. Can’t wait to pick one up!
The 9700 is an AWESOME phone! It has all the great features from the 9000 packed in to the 8900 form factor. Having 3G on this phone will surely make it a hit with the TMo subscribers.
I think so highly of this phone , that I almost left T-mobile and for AT&T (OMG!!!) I am finally happy to be getting a Blackberry that I don’t have to worry about the track ball having to be replaced. It has all the features that in one device. It just doesn’t get any better than the 9700. Say what you want ipooh users, I have a friend that is constatly getting delayed txt messages from all other carriers on that craptastic iPhone. (Sorry, my personal feelings!!!)
As a matter of fact my wife and I both are getting one. We currently have 8320’s and have loved what they can do and have longed for something with the power the new 9700. I say to all, come join us in the new Blackberry flagship. I can’t wait for ours to be delivered on Tuesday. I can’t wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don’t care if I win or not, I just wanted to share my excitement about the phone. GPS, UMA, 3G, and OS 5.0!!!! WOOOT!!!!!
Yay!!!!!
This will be far and away THE BEST device TMO has ever HD in their lineup!
From my BlackBerry Storm…
This will be a must have device & app!
The 9700 is an AWESOME device. After watching this video, it looks like TeleNav would be the perfect addition to make this device even better.
The Blackbeery Bold 9700 is so easy even a caveman could use it!
All joking aside, I have been waiting for this momement since the Bold ‘refresh’ was leaked for T-Mobile.
PS: TeleNav is by far the best Nav App out there; hands down.
Best BlackBerry I’ve held so far !! Multimedia capabilities, Form factor simply fantastic!!
Sent using my BlackBerry Onyx – 9700
Bold is maybe the best device RIM released.. If it had a proper trackball it would hav been perfect! Love the materials used!
just tested the t-mobile 3g speeds and found it to be way faster than att……… now getting this app on my 3g bb would be worth paying the cancellation fee on my att contract…..
Got my Bold 9700 from T-Mobile today. Best phone I have every had!
TeleNav GPS Navigator on the T-Mobile BlackBerry Bold. Well it took some time for T-Mobile to release a BlackBerry with 3g. They could not have pick a better BB then the 9700 launch w/3g. I’m looking forward to using TeleNav with all the 9700 bells and whistle. I must also add that your 3 year @ $9.95 per month subscription give away is a generous offer. What a sweet combination.
My Bold 9000 rocks. The 9700 can only improve with the smaller form factor and trackpad. I am excited for this device.
i already have the 9700(rogers) and its the best RIM device i’ve used hands down, its the first blackberry I’ve used that even has iphone users wanting to switch, its definitely an eye pleaseer, i was hoping to have they keyboard of the 9000 series though.

Waiting on my 9700 to come from T-mobile, got my order in Thursday. Just reading about how T-Mobile is going to be ratcheting up their 3G speeds in the months ahead. Assuming it can take advantage of the increased speeds, this device will just keep getting better.
As for TeleNav, I love it, but it has the same issue any GPS with voice prompts has. My wife can’t stand them. I think she wants to be the only one to tell me which way to turn. :/
@Robert – My wife is the same way!!! I think it is funny it bothers her.
Can’t wait until I get my paws on the 9700
This is one of the most exciting GPS apps I’ve seen for the BlackBerry. Can’t wait to see it a real action
I love the fact that there is finally a 3G and UMA Blackberry on TMo. Finally now I can use the UMA when I am at my school or my GF’s Dorm Room.
I think this phone is incredible! It’s a little smaller than I had hoped but all in all it is an unbelievable phone. Definitely the best RIM has put out yet.
Looks to be about as good as it gets for RIM right now. We’ll see how long it holds that title!
This is my 3rd BlackBerry with T Mobile. The first with built in GPS. I have been waiting for this 3G model for months. It BLOWS away any other BlackBerry. What can I say—–I’m in love! Oh, and the trackpad is WAY cool.
Simple amazing. Oh I can’t wait. Very compelling – couldn’t ask for anything more. RIM truly went all out on this app. Oh I can’t wait. This is the ultimate blackberry yet.
very very nice device! and telenav navigator seems running very well on it.
The best blackberry in the market. The successor for Bold 9000, I can’t wait to have it. RIM just better and better
Thanks for the opportunity guys. You rocks.
I think the new Blackberry 9700 is the ticket! I’ve been w/ T-mobile since 04′ and have yet to see something this sofisticated from t-mobile. The telenav GPS feature would give it the edge it needs to compete.
Blackberry Bold 9700
A few frustrating things about the previous Blackberry Bold included slow Wi-Fi connections. The stream didn’t appear to be full duplex. I’m sure it was, but the download speeds appeared very slow. I see OS5.0 or the new Bold 9700 has fixed that. Finally!
The 3G drain on the battery as we all know was a very bad. When I first go the Blackberry Bold it overheated on me to the point where I couldn’t hold the phone any longer. The batter life was about six hours and the only fix I could find was to throw it on EDGE. This has been fixed with the 9700.
Since getting the Blackberry Bold, Appworld has been launched, Facebook app has grown from 1.0 to 1.7 etc.. etc… With the influx of great new apps like Poynt, Viigo (tried tested and true), Food Network, SPB TV, and much more… it is nice to see a Blackberry with 256 megs of ram (512, or even a gig would have been nicer.
OS5.0 is some great updates for the executive on the move. I don’t know about you but flagging e-mails is something I really needed. The Blackberry groups for BBM Messenger, also something that I use. The new BBM is wonderful.
All in all, this is a step forward from the Bold 9000, but to be honest… I would have preferred the bigger screen on the Bold 9000 to the Bold 9700. A 3G upgrade to the 8900 is what the 9700 (minus the keys) seems like to me. I have both the 8900 and the 9700 now.
Good solid machines RIM. Keep them coming.
As a t-mobile BB support rep i have many BB’s, this by far is the greatest. Telenav is fantastic. All of us love this handset. I have used telenav on my last 3 handsets as well the 8900, 8820, & the 8800. It looks crispist on the 9700. Now if we could get some other voices in Telenav like some comedians or actors & actresses, That would be hot. RIM luv u guys & Telenav u have gotten me home on several trips when i was lost. 3G services are fantastic on this device, don’t forget the free calling over wi-fi on UMA guys TMO Exclusive. LONG LIVE TMOBILE, RIM & TELENAV.
I just picked up my 9700 yesterday. It’s the best BB ever!
