my curve 8320 is currently running on OS v4.5.0.81 and BBM v.5.0.0.8.. do i really need to upgrade my BBM to v5.0.0.55? and if i do, will it erase all my BBM contacts and chat history?

Tell me sumn….. if u download it from the mobile.blackberry website, will it delete all ur contacts forcing u to add them back? Wen u download new versions from bb help or app world, it automatically syncs ur contacts.

Yes, that picture downloading change was the worst!! What ever happened to VIEW? That way, if you don’t want it, you don’t have to save it!!! I like the option there, now your forced to save it.

The picture transfer is not so slow as the version before 5.0.0.55 … and you’ve got an extra option now, you can see the PREVIEW.

Some other differences:

- conversation style has an extra option (new: Stripes);
- voicenotes you can automatically accept.

so this is the official version released from rim correct, not the leaked version floating around everywhere?
