i just tested my bold 9700 with Bell and i hit 2 mins and 5 secs. I have 9 3rd party apps….?!?!?!?!?

I think for the numbers to be even close to considered valid they need to be run on a “clean” device. No apps, no themes, no nothing but the factory OS.

Oh, and 50.0.328 for the Storm isn’t a “leak”. It was officially released by Verizon the weekend before the Storm2 launched. To be fair of course Telus has NOT released it so in that case it’s not an “official” Telus release but it IS official. You SHOULD benchmark it against the “official” Telus 4.7.0.122.

@Shaun C – I’d say they’re all equally “loaded” with apps. The 9700 may have a couple more than the others, which might explain why it takes over 5 minutes, but relative to the other devices, I don’t think it could explain such a long wait time. I could redo the test with each device totally clean.

meanwhile my VZW Tour – even brand new – takes about 7 minutes to boot..
