This is the biggest problem that RIMM has with their phones. While their email service works on every phone, the apps do not. Thus their phones are not a platform but are multiple platforms on which a developer has to decide if they want to write an app for the Storm, rework it for the Curve, tweak it for the Bold and then redo it for the Storm 2. Seems too much work for the developer and mass confusion by the consumer.

How long until someone files a suit against RIMM saying I bought this phone for the tons of apps but most do not work on my phone. It is the Nokia app nightmare on the Rimm platform.
