BlackBerry Messenger Updated to Version 5.0.0.57

BBM has been updated to version 5.0.0.57. There have been problems reported with BBM today so it may affect the download.

    I’m not understanding what all of these rapid fire upgrades are doing other than making the app bigger and take up a substantial amount of memory. Do we have details of anything that was fixed or improved? This is like the 3rd upgrade in 2 weeks.

    This was a great fix as the previous 5.0 version had transfer issues. Very happy with it now.

    i can’t add some bbm contacts while i was using 5.0.0.33 so im hoping this upgrade will help in someway. tried all the methods by the book but nothing seems to work

    Since I have upgraded to the latest Messenger I notice that at times I cannot reply to bb chat messages, I have to close the chat and send as a new chat after waiting a few minutes. What’s that all about as this has never happened on any other version of messenger. Anyone else had this problem? Or any solutions?

    I've had the same issues. I will be carrying along in a chat and then my cursor disappears and I have to close the conversation and close the app to get it to work again. It's frustrating because you lose your the entire conversation in the process. My only solution has been to roll back to the original version which came with my bb. You lose some of the new functionality of 5.0.0.57 like Facebook integration and being able to add contacts using the barcode generator but the chatting functions work perfectly. Safe to say I'm not impressed that this issue still exists as I came across it several months ago and Blackberry has yet to fix it.
