Poynt Beta Closed Until Official Release

Poynt have let us know that the Beta for the upcoming version of Poynt is now closed. Be sure to stay tuned for the official release because the new gas and weather features are going to make this app even more useful. For those that have tried the beta, let us know what you think about the new features in the comments.

    I have been using the new beta for a couple days now and have noticed the gas prices are not accurate. I’m not sure how they gather their data, but in some cases they are reporting gas at $2.89 at a station where it actually sells at $2.63. I really can’t trust the gas prices they list.

    The weather screen is pretty cool…although it has only been sunny since I installed the beta. It’s supposed to snow tomorrow so I’ll get a chance to see a different screen. The temp appears to be fairly accurate.
