i like the idea of them FINALLY… waking up and allowing us prepaid customers to have a smartphone. if WE.. wanna spend $600 on a phone, its OUR decision. in the end THEY still get richer… so why not allow it? i guess our words (and hacks) finally got to them.

but anyway, i dont think that verizon will “relegate to the older and cheaper devices” as the blackberry choice. think about it.. thats stupid. how and why would they do that if youre not able to walk into the store and get that old device? because im sure you can no longer find classic blackberries in store made for verizon wireless. MY OPINION.. is that it WILL be a new blackberry.. but limited only to the blackberry curve 8530 for that prepaid offer. theyre competing with Tmobile… no way theyre gonna let you have any other blackberry besides the curve when thats the basic standard model.. its only common sence
