I would LOVE to see a BB tablet! I read on my BB Touch all the time, it’s too small to do much on the net or watch movies on. If I had a choice of BB or Apple I’d go w/BB every time, but if BB doesn’t offer anything like the iPad I think I’m going to have to purchase my first Apple product!

RIM could possibly see how the iPad performs and decide whether or not to create a SurePress-based Tablet PC with either a HEAVILY refined version of BlackBerry OS or something else completely specific for it…

I doubt it but it would be interesting to see if RIM will NOT make something to possibly compete with this…

I’m far from an Apple fanboy, but I think this iPad (stupid, stupid name) is being unfairly maligned because it’s not living up to the over-the-top expectations of Mac geeks with their incessant rumor-blogging and fake image posting of the “tablet of all tablets.” Then, when their wildest fantasies aren’t realized, they crawl into a corner and whine. Not Apple’s fault.

No thanks RIM…leave the tablet to the Apple pros…I’m not hating on bb, I currently love my bold but if I can somehow create a ibold that would be a great piece of technology. Both RIM and Apple are great companies and so far they have been the leading developers in our world of technology.

RIM needs to do a lot of work…the BB os is dated. They need to brush up the bb OS let alone an attempt at a pad/slate/tablet thing, it would be a disaster. It is beyond hardware, the software is of utmost importance…that is where apple excels…ps, i own a berry, and i love..but RIM has some catching up to do.
