SIRIUS/XM BlackBerry App Officially Released

When we wrote about the SIRIUS/XM app for BlackBerry early last month, the rumor said it was due to launch this month. True to their unofficial word the app has launched. From the details listed last month, we know the app is a mobile extension of the subscriber’s paid Premium Online Service. The app also gives you 120 channels, the same number currently available on the iPhone app.

Any premium SIRIUS users out there? What do you think of the app?

    No Stern!!! The app is nice, but it is mssing the #1 reason people subscribe to Sirius.

    If you like Sirius XM then see their “rags to riches” story on DVD. The movie is called “Stock Shock” and it goes over the history, development, and near-death experience of the stock. I did not know the inventor of sirius xm was a woman!–well she is now, at least. DVD is cheaper at http://www.stockshockmovie.com, but the DVD is pretty much everywhere for sale.

    Definitely not for Canadians. I have the 8330 and downloaded the 8500 software and it seemed to work, until it asked for my info. I have Sirius Canada and it won’t take my info. They need to release a Canadian version.
