BlackBerry 8330 from Verizon

There seems to be a rumor going around that Verizon has discontinued the Curve 8330 because it’s not showing up on the Verizon site. Not too long ago we heard Verizon would be offering the 8330 on a pay-as-you-go plan. It could be that the device is in transition from the contract section to the month-to-month section and that’s why we’re not seeing it. It would also be a little strange for Verizon to discontinue America’s most popular smartphone, and keep the Pearl Flip.

    It is time for this to go.With the 8530 released 3 months ago, there is no reason to hold on to this model. It no longer really has a place in the BlackBerry lineup

    I guess that'll be why they rolled out OS 5 for every BlackBerry EXCEPT the Curve 8330.Drat. Time to install a leaked build instead, I guess.
