I forgot to mention that I love the term “Freemium” that you used to describe Matthias' new pricing model — it's a perfect description that I've never heard used before.

I have been following and using FileScout (formerly BBFileScout) for just over a year now — as an early donor under Matthias' original “Donationware” model, I believe that the app is worth every penny that I “gave” (and every penny that he is now charging under the commercial model). This application rocks! It just continues to get better and better with each and every version, and the developer's response to feedback has been absolutely phenomenal!
